For families
See how your child is developing.
Your child does a few short tests during a normal training session. You get a plain-language report showing where they stand, what to work on next and how they’re likely to develop, plus training videos to help them get there.
Results are compared with players at the same stage of growth (their biological age), not just kids born the same year, so late bloomers aren’t left behind.
The test day
One training session, at your child’s own club.
-
Before: you give consent.
Your club asks for a parent’s or guardian’s consent first. No result is sent to Game1 without it.
-
In training: short tests.
Sprints, agility, ball feel, and dribbling, then small-sided games.
-
A growth check-up.
We measure height, sitting height and weight to estimate how far along your child is in their growth. It’s an estimate, not a medical assessment.
-
Same week: your report.
You’ll see where your child stands, what to work on next, and training videos to help them get there, all through your club.
What you get
Theo’s family report after test day 3: the Overview.
Theo’s development snapshotTheo is growing later than most of his age group, and his speed is already strong for his biological age. Until the next test day the focus is his technical game: ball feel and dribbling.
- Age12.6
- Height142 cm
- Biological age12.0an estimate
- Expected adult height168–174 cman estimate
Target
- Dribbling course10.40 s → 9.75 s
- A report in plain language. What your child is doing well and what to focus on next. Actionable, and without jargon.
- Compared fairly. Kids grow at different times, so results are compared with players of the same age and the same biological age. Late bloomers get their fair shot.
- Where they’re headed. Estimated biological age, expected adult height, and how your child is likely to develop.
- Small, specific targets. For example, cutting the dribbling course from 10.40 to 9.75 seconds by the next test day. Goals are based on realistic improvements.
- A player card. Like a pro’s, but with your child’s own stats. Made to share with friends and on social media.
What it is not
-
Not a ranking of the team.
Nobody is told they are the slowest or the weakest in their team.
-
Not a verdict.
One test day is a starting point. The report is about progress.
-
Not medical or psychological advice.
Biological age is a statistical estimate. The questionnaire is not a diagnosis.
Questions
What does it cost?
Your club decides. At some clubs it is included for every player; at others it is optional and families who want it pay for it.
Does my child have to take part?
No. Nothing is recorded without your consent.
Who looks after my child on the day?
Your child’s club. It supervises the test day and club training, and its staff can leave out anything that does not suit your child. Exercises done away from the club are yours to supervise.
How do I get the report?
Through your club. A parent or legal guardian views their own child’s report.
My club does not use Game1. Can we get it?
Game1 reaches families through clubs.
You can send this note to your club:
Hello, I came across Game1 (game1.ai). It tests players in one training session, compares every result with players at the same biological age, and gives every player a development plan. Could our club take a look?
See tomorrow’s players today.
Test days are arranged through your child’s club. Ask your coach when the next one is.
