Game1 measures children and teenagers, so the rules are written down.
Who gives consent?
You do: a parent or legal guardian. Your child’s club is responsible for obtaining that consent before it sends a player’s data to Game1. Game1 relies on the club for this and does not contact parents itself to obtain or check it. If you believe your child’s data reached Game1 without your consent, write to privacy@game1.ai.
Do parents have to consent?
Yes. Before a player’s data is sent to Game1, your club must hold the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian for every minor. That responsibility is the club’s: Game1 relies on it and does not contact parents to obtain or check consent.
What does Game1 hold about my child?
Name, date of birth, sex, club, height, sitting height, weight and test results; the player’s mental-strength self-assessment; and the scores, profiles and forecasts worked out from them. Game1 also collects publicly available soccer-career information, such as club and college squad lists and league records. Game1 is not a medical service and does not intentionally collect diagnoses, injury history or medical records.
Who can see my child’s file?
Your child’s club and the staff it authorizes, and you as parent or guardian. Game1 and the service providers that run the platform for it under contract process the data. Scouts, colleges and other clubs see a player’s identifiable data only with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian, or of the player once adult. The policy’s other exceptions are disclosures the law requires or that are needed for legal claims.
Is my child’s data sold or shared for advertising?
No. Game1 does not sell personal data and does not share it for advertising across other sites and apps. A college or recruiting program you agree to share a file with may pay Game1 for access to the platform, not for your child’s data. Game1 may also use and commercialize aggregated or de-identified data, which no longer identifies your child.
Can I see, correct or delete my child’s data?
Yes. At any time a parent or legal guardian can ask to review the information Game1 holds about their child, have it corrected or deleted, and refuse further collection or use, by writing to privacy@game1.ai. Game1 may need to confirm who you are first. Where the club uploaded the data, Game1 coordinates the request with the club. Backup copies are kept for up to 30 days and then overwritten, some data may be kept longer where the law requires it or to defend legal claims, and aggregated or de-identified data may be kept indefinitely.
Is the data used to improve the forecasts?
Yes. Game1 uses the data it holds to train and improve its forecasts, benchmarks and other current or future Game1 products and services, and for research and analysis. If you object to your child’s identifiable data being used to improve models, write to privacy@game1.ai. Game1 then leaves those records out of future training where the law requires it or where it agrees to. Models already trained are not rebuilt.
Where is the data processed?
Game1 is based in the United States. Data may be stored and processed there and in other countries where its service providers operate, including Switzerland and the European Union. A current list of service providers is available on request at privacy@game1.ai.
Is biological age a medical assessment?
No. It is a statistical estimate from standard measurements such as height, sitting height and weight, used only to compare players who are equally far along in their growth. Game1 uses no scans, does not assess puberty, and does not diagnose or predict any health condition. For any question about your child’s growth or health, speak to a doctor.
Can colleges or scouts see my child?
Only if you agree. There is no list of named players to browse. A file leaves the club only with the explicit consent of a parent or guardian, or of the player once adult, and the recipient may use it for legitimate recruiting only.
